Welcome to The Winey Writer

                Well, hello there! Being unsure as to what direct, or circuitous route you took to get here I will simply say that I am glad you made it. That said, feel free to take your time, have a look around: there is plenty to peruse, as it were.

                What, you ask? For starters, there are links below to my other social media platforms, including my award winning -okay no awards yet but you have to admit I got your attention- YouTube channel, where I talk about the process I underwent to get my Novel from inside my head to the printing press.

                There are also links to my previous -and in some cases ongoing- projects. There are short stories, a stage play, and an interesting project that is unfolding even as I type out this welcome letter. That may require some explanation so, here goes.

                A while back I ran across a writing contest and prompt. It was a challenge to write a story or chapter using the provided first line. I entered and, lo and behold, I enjoyed the characters so much that they would not stop talking to each other in my head. What else was I to do but keep writing.

                As you can see there are lots of things to check out so I will leave you with this; whatever artistic endeavor, or pass-time helps feed your soul, take time for it. Art is what keeps us human.
